Job Description:
In this role our client is looking for an out-of-the-box thinker and self-motivated person to provide high-quality logistics support to both internal and external customers. The following functions are key:
• All Aspects of Receiving and Shipping including material handling, inspections and preparing reports
• All aspects of inventory and Asset Control including multi-customer property accounting
• Project assets, inventory and shipments from damage, corrosion, or deterioration and loss
• Initiating insurance claims for equipment damaged in transit
• Track all incoming and outgoing packages following initial order or quote to final delivery
• Create, track and maintain detailed records for all customer inventory and corporate assets
• Process all RMA product request from our customers to our vendors
• Maintain warranty records for all equipment
• Manage test procedure library and schedule inspections at origin or RMA no-fault tests prior to shipping
• Conduct government acceptance inspections or proof of delivery notice so accounting can in voice
• Prepares repair service quotes for out of warranty repair requests
• Manage commercial courier and storage relationships such as UPS, FEDEX, etc.
• Document all logistics records in the appropriate database
• Cross Check and approve payments for shipping to projects, purchase orders, and freight quotes
• Perform light duty office equipment repairs and facility improvements and maintain storage tidiness
• Assist with product assembly process or site operations you’ve been trained to perform
• Experience with MS Office and MS Access
